THE DONOR’S PRIMARY INTENT BEHIND THIS PROGRAM IS TO HIGHLIGHT AND HONOR OUTSTANDING TEACHERS WHO HAVE MADE A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT IN STUDENTS’ LIVES.

The Impact Scholarship Program was established to recognize and celebrate exceptional teachers whose dedication, mentorship, and encouragement have profoundly shaped the lives of their students. Rooted in the belief that great educators create a lasting ripple effect, the program honors those who inspire confidence, foster growth, and help students achieve their full potential. By recognizing the meaningful influence of outstanding teachers, the scholarship highlights the enduring power of education and the transformative impact a caring mentor can have on future generations.

BEYOND THE SCHOLARSHIP

The program extends beyond financial aid by formally recognizing the “Impact Teacher” identified by each scholarship recipient. This recognition culminates in a special event, typically a luncheon, where both the recipients and their honored “Impact Teachers” are celebrated. The program’s value in this public recognition lies in creating a tangible connection, fostering appreciation for educators, and inspiring both current students and faculty alike.

One day she asked me how I would feel about coming to stay with her for a couple of weekends. I was ecstatic. It was strange at first but soon it began to feel like home. Eventually she adopted us.
She taught me how important it is to be kind and supportive to others. Because of her, I now tutor younger students in math, coach soccer goalies, and volunteer in my community. I try to show the same patience and encouragement that she showed me.
As a student with dyslexia, I struggled with reading and writing, but Mrs. Foster's patience, high expectations, and belief in my ability helped me develop the skills and confidence I lacked. Her guidance not only strengthened my academics but also left a lasting impact on how I see myself as a learner.
He believed that leadership was not about being the loudest person or the star player, but about setting the example. He encouraged me to stay positive when the team was struggling and to push myself so others would follow.
My advisor has played a significant role in encouraging me, guiding me, and reminding me of my potential during moments of doubt.
Through her unwavering support and genuine compassion, she not only helped me navigate a difficult chapter in my life but also instilled in me the importance of empathy and human connection.
One moment that really stuck with me was when she handed back an assignment with a note that read, “You have a voice worth hearing— don’t be afraid to use it.”
Somehow no matter how disrespectful I was to her she made me feel loved through it. She gave a lost and depressed little girl belief in herself.
My teacher fostered a classroom built on trust and meaningful dialogue, encouraging students to think deeply, express themselves honestly, and step outside their comfort zones
Her impact on my life is something I will always take with me. She taught me that science can be meaningful and that kindness is more important than any grade or class you will ever take
He taught me that mistakes weren’t failures but lessons. And trust me, I made plenty of them. But no matter how many times I messed up he never judged me.
I will never forget the way she took me under her wing and treated me as one of her own. I am thankful for God allowing me to be the one she took in and cared for. She will forever be my role model and the reason for me to keep going in my career and future studies.
His encouragement, belief in my abilities, and willingness to challenge me have had a lasting impact on my life. Because of him, I now walk into my future with confidence, passion, and a sense of purpose.
He wasn’t wrong, none of us cared at all. At that moment I had the realization that if I didn’t start trying in life that I was never going to be able to do anything I wanted.
